36Pix launches ChromaStar™, the top green screen technology

Montreal, February 25 - 36Pix, the industry leading provider of high-volume green-screen background replacement service, is pleased to announce the launch of ChromaStar™ at the upcoming PMA convention in Las Vegas Nevada, from March 3-5, 2009.
 
ChromaStar™ is the next generation high definition chroma keying engine developed by 36Pix's R&D team. Built on the highly successful predecessor engine, which has been in high volume production since 2006, ChromaStar™ promises to take high definition background replacement to the next level making digitally replaced backgrounds at par with real ones, including high key backgrounds.

ChromaStar™ addresses all commonly reported green screen related problems, featuring;

» Green spill correction
» Green clothes masking
» High key background replacement

ChromaStar™ is available through two next day service offerings; 1) Green Screen Background Replacement service (GSBR), where the source image, background choice and output resolution must be provided and 2) Knock Out service (KO), where a transparency layer is added to the source image. Both are available over the Internet or any digital media.
